Spanish Door

An ancient door in Spain is captured in this painting. I happened upon this door as I turned along a side street in Rhodes, Spain. The craftmanship of the carving was impressive. I immediately wanted to know who lived behind this special doorway, and thought it would invoke the same type of pondering in others so I decided to paint it.
